Designed for "Cross Sports" applications, the X6 HR is essentially the same watch as the newly released X6 but with added benefits of a heart rate monitor. Utilizing a cell-phone like interface, Suunto has simplified the process of navigating though the multitude of functions with graphical displays and scrolling menu systems. The X6 not only sports an Altimeter, Barometer, Thermometer, Compass, Watch, and Heart Rate Monitor but the data is PC Downloadable (currently only via serial port, and no support for Macintosh) so you can track all of your vital information. Once your data is downloaded to you PC, it can be analyzed with the included software, and uploaded to SuuntoSports.com, where you can refine, share, and compare your data with fellow Suunto enthusiasts. A truly unique experience only available for the newest Suunto watches. What sets the X6 HR apart from other heart rate monitor watches is the monitor belt. In the past Suunto has utilized Polar- technology for their heart rate monitors. For X6 HR, Suunto wanted to improve accuracy and functionality so they brought it in-house. The result is wireless communication with a graphic profile of heart rate, display of average/highest/lowest rate, memory capacity for different intervals, interval reminder, and the battery is consumer replaceable.
    Suunto X6 begins a new product line of Suunto wristop computers. Suunto X6 is a perfect tool for any cross sports enthusiast such as a mountaineer, hiker or a cross-country skier. It offers a combination of three functional dimensions: it gives the user essential information instantly during the performance. A level of deeper understanding comes with the PC interface. It also opens a door to an Internet community where cross sports enthusiasts worldwide can share and acquire information with and from other users of Suunto-s latest wristop computer generation.

    Know your training
  • With advanced timing functions of the stopwatch you are able to record lap and split times of your activity.
  • Chronometer memory records accurate altitude profile with 10 or 60 seconds interval. This is ideal for fast sports.
  • Adjustable alarm works as an interval reminder.
  • Accurate altimeter (1 meter resolution) makes it possible to measure the vertical performance when jogging, hiking, biking, wandering, climbing etc.

    DEEPER UNDERSTANDING

    Suunto Activity Manager (SAM) is software that enables deeper understanding of the recorded data. With SAM you can visualize the altitude profiles for your routes, analyze and plan your training and keep a training diary. You can also create your own activity reports by adding photos and text to the profiles.
