We were going to test this watch on a dive! The only problem was that there was no water in the world deep enough to dive, although we are still scouring the ocean-trench charts. The technical adviser tells us that the human body would be shrunk to the size of your average kipper at this depth! Wow. you may be compressed a little but you could still have the right time if anyone asked

12,000 Meters?
At first sight it seems to be impossible that a watch could reach a depth of up to 12,000 m (39,600 feet) !!
You may have already noticed that the inside of this HYPERBAR watch is completely filled with a liquid. All of the components, including the movements, are plunged in this liquid. You may have also noticed the bubble floating around in the liquid. Only the patented filling system (patent no. CH68698985) makes this incredible durability possible, tested and certified by the EGI (Swiss federal inspectorate of Dangerous Materials, test report no. 102'433).
The HYPERBAR Deep Diver System is based on a simple physical principle; One that starfish and sea-urchins use to survive. This principle is nothing more than liquid compression. These sea creatures are made of a permeable texture that allows the pressure of the water on their outside to be equalised by the same pressure from the inside. This is what allows these sea creatures to survive at great depths.
Adopting this system into a wrist watch seems like it should be relatively simple. Nevertheless it took years of research and development to make it happen. One of the biggest hurdles was to choose, test and harmonise very carefully all the different components and materials. Because it was impossible to make a quality watch out of permeable material a liquid had to be developed that was stable under all conditions, and could safely be mixed with the components of the watch.
The 12,000 m Divers Watch is the result!
A mixture base of oil, replaces almost all the air in the watch case. Just a small bubble (diam. less 5 mm) remains, moving visibly over the dial most of the time. This bubble expands in the cold and contracts in the heat. It is not unusual for the bubble to move behind the dial, or due to higher heat (e.g., hot water, or direct sunlight) it may practically disappear altogether. The liquid inside the watch does not affect its operation, nor its precision.
Other advantages of the HYPERBAR 12,000 m Divers Watch include:
Excellent readability at all angles because of the lack of light reflection.
The fluid also acts as a magnifier
Higher corrosion-resistance for all the parts inside the case due to the oily liquid
Reduced wear out of the movement due to permanent lubrication
